What we accept at EBTS:
Accepted Waste Types - At East Brunswick Transfer Station (EBTS), we accept a wide range of waste materials, including:
- Garden waste
- Domestic recyclables – such as paper, cardboard, plastics, and glass
- Household bulk waste – including furniture, mattresses, and similar items
- Building and demolition waste – including wood, bricks, tiles, asphalt, and concrete
- Excavated materials from uncontaminated sites – such as clean road base, sand, and gravel
- Clean, uncontaminated soils
- Scrap metal and metal products – including whitegoods and car parts
- Electronic waste (E-Waste) – such as cameras, computers, power tools, heaters, and televisions
- It is not possible to list all prohibited wastes, but the following provide an indication of wastes which are NOT ACCEPTED:
- Liquid waste
- Asbestos
- Contaminated soil
- Food waste
- Gas bottles
- Chemical waste
- Liquids, oils & paint
