Since the introduction of the landfill levy in 2006, Kartaway has made significant investments in its Landfill Waste Diversion Programs. These programs focus on educating customers about effective waste segregation, providing bins for specific waste streams, and ensuring clear communication on acceptable waste materials.

In conjunction with a comprehensive waste screening program at Kartaway's transfer stations, which includes mechanical screening of brick, shingles, and dirt, as well as manual segregation, we are able to deliver a reliable and efficient waste management service.
